BLAZUSIAK wins last fight! After nine months without action packed and explosive racing,
the Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship resumes this weekend at the
Tauron Arena in Krakow (Poland) for round one of the 2016/2017 series.
Colton Haaker (Husq) set the fastest time in qualifying. Taddy Blazusiak {KTM)
was runner up and new boy Pascal Rauchenecker (Husq) was 3rd, Jonny
Walker (KTM) was 4th and Mike Brown (Husq) 5th. Lee Sealey {Yamaha) was
the quickest Junior. Gethin Humphreys (Husq) was 5th and William Hoare (KTM)
9th. Luke Flack was unlucky 13th. In the first Junior final the order was
Kyle Flanagan (Sherco) Benjamin Herrera (TM) Lee Sealey, Gethin
Humphreys and William Hoare. Taddy took the early lead in the 1st Prestige
final until a fallen rider at the watersplash gave Colton Haaker the lead.
Unfortunately Colton lost the place by overtaking under a yellow flag.
Jonny Walker was 3rd. Benjamin Herrera won the 2nd Junior final but the
reverse order start didn't do the Brits any favours. Taddy had a bit of
luck in the 2nd final but he rode it to the end. South African Blake
Gutzeit was runner up in the 2nd Junior final and he did one better in the
3rd race with a win but Ben Harrera was the overall Junior winner on the
night. Blake was runner up and Kye Flannagan was 3rd. Brits William Hoare
and Gethin Humphreys finished 4th and 5th. Taddy took the early lead in
the final heat but Colton Haaker overtook him legitimately at the
watersplash. The crowd were clearly behind Taddy and he went on to finish
runner up and overall winner. Alfredo Gomez rode 3 consistent races and he
took 3rd, Jonny Walker was 4th and Mike Brown was 5th Details
