SATURDAY was prologue day and after a week of heavy rain the weather
was warm and dry , the prologue would use an Enduro style special test
comprising of gravel roads, gnarly woodland trails and open forest breaks, after
a sighting lap riders had 2 timed laps the fastest would provide their start

The Michelin XCE 2018 seies drew to a close at MAESHAFN with a superb course
and epic racing... Sam Hughes was again unstoppable in the Kids series (growing
spectacularly in numbers). Jack Ditchfield was in stunning form on his Yamaha to
take the Adults win... Well done to all riders in all classes...Results

The most difficult track of the season challenged the World stars
The SHC Meltewitz put a lot of work into the track for the 3rd round of the
Hard Enduro Series Germany season. Meltewitz was also affected by the dryness,
so the fire brigade was requested to water the track for the prologue. Details

EVENT REPORT 16-09-2018

There was a good entry for the Dave Roper Memorial Event and the weather
played it part sunny, warm but breezy. This year the two historic Scramble
fields were not available at the Tye Farm Great Cornard complex and the
organisers Sudbury Motor Cycle Club had the use of two other fields. The first
field was last used 30th July 1961 for a Grass Track meeting while the second
field was used on a Sunday morning get together in 1959 and a cracking course
was laid out over the hilly stubble fields with some adverse cambers.
Programme for the day three separate Classes each Class riding three events
the first two were practice and warm up sessions. . Details
