Dorset

Rogershill Raceway staged round 1 of the winter Warmer series despite the best efforts of Storm Angus which hit Dorset over Saturday night. Race organiser Danny Hall sensibly modified parts of the course Saturday in anticipation and created a tough, demanding but very ridable 7 mile course. With a full line up of 180 riders and clearing skies the eager riders got away on time and found the going very slippery on top, however by mid race ground conditions were nearly perfect. The tough conditions favoured some riders and one in particular, local rider Bradley KING on his Kawasaki who was in a class of his own. Bradley pushed hard in the early laps when conditions were at there most challenging and built an early lead which he then managed throughout the race duration. At the end of the race an exhausted field completed a great event in the face of terrible weather conditions, they just about have time to recover before round 2 on December 4th.
