Luke Owen wins Dan Horton-Tilley Young Guns Award
19 tear old Luke Owen age won the inaugural Young Gun Award at Weston Super Mare Beach Race 2018.
This award has been created by the parents of Dan Horton-Tilley, who was a motorcycle racer but sadly passed away at the age of 19. They wanted to keep his memory alive by celebrating the achievements of up and coming 19 year old riders taking part in the beach race.
The larger trophy will be kept for a year then the current winner (Luke Owen) will hand it down to next years Young Gun of 2019.
A big thank you to Dan's parents for making this award available for the young riders to compete for.
